We do our local development on Ubuntu, which was on a kernel 6.14. Ubuntu only switched to 6.17 in 25.10, which was released late last year. Most of our users are in the same situation, so they didn’t run into this either. We’re planning on switching our development machines to Arch, which is typically on the bleeding edge kernel, so that we’ll spot issues like this faster in the future. Lesson learned.
